PC Sports is now under contract with the Wisconsin Center District to provide Owner’s Representation Services in the construction of a new arena that will serve as the home of the Milwaukee Bucks and revitalize downtown Milwaukee. The District is contributing $250 million dollars to the project, which currently has a total estimated budget of $524 million dollars. The new multipurpose arena is projected to be over 700,000 s.f. with a seating capacity of 17,500 for basketball, and will also have the versatility to host hockey games, concerts, circuses, ice events, and open-floor exhibitions. The architecture incorporates a transparent, hand-crafted zinc and glass exterior and curved roof to reflect the flow of the local waterways and is the focal point of a “live block” zone that will include other entertainment venues, office space, and residential spaces. The project broke ground in June 2016 and is slated for completion for the 2018/2019 NBA season.
Gary W. Hall, who recently completed the Kyle Field Stadium Redevelopment Project, will serve as Project Director for the Owner’s Representative team. Gary will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of our services which will include monitoring the work and progress of the project budget, schedule, minority participation, commissioning, and project closeout.
