The project consisted of renovations and additions to the University of Louisville football stadium to include new suites, upper deck seats, foodservice options, and canopy structure. The campus was in use during construction and extensive coordination was required with existing parking and student movements. A spring football game was also held during the construction period so safety was of utmost importance. All work had to be completed during the off season and also required management of sensitive soil movements on the brown field site.
PC Sports was brought on board by the Athletics Department after the design team had twice been unsuccessful designing a project within budget. After two months of intensive work, some $20,000,000 was taken out of the project costs. The project was then fast tracked to completion.
